When the morning dew slowly settles over the hills in western Styria, the meadows glitter in the first rays of sunshine and the birds begin to chirp....
...then the first honeybees start...
...from the nearly 25 beehives into their working day. They swarm through the forests of the beautiful village of Bad Gams, pollinate the flowers and collect sweet nectar.
With great enthusiasm beekeeper Martin has been taking care of his beehives since 2014.
The honey, which was previously tested in the Graz beekeeping school, is only sold with the "natural honey" quality seal.
Martin's honey frequently receives the highest quality awards, which makes him very proud and rewards him for his efforts.
"I've received a number of quality awards in recent years, which I'm very proud of."
